THIS WEEK: AMA, Elon Musk and The War in Ukraine
Welcome to my weekly roundup of evergreen content to inspire and encourage founders and innovators across the world.
PODCAST
I was on the podcast this week, doing my first ever AMA! After a year since launching the podcast, I thought it would be fun for listeners to send me some questions to answer.
I covered a myriad of topics from the childhood experiences which shaped me to why I think Juicero was a good idea, who my dream guest would be and how to start your own podcast. Listen here.

Virtual Society: The Metaverse and the New Frontiers of Human Experience by Herman Narula
The concept of "the metaverse" has exploded in the public consciousness, but its contours remain elusive.
As Herman Narula, founder and CEO of Improbable, shows - the metaverse is the latest manifestation of an ancient human tendency: the act of worldbuilding. From the Egyptians, whose conception of death inspired them to build the pyramids, to modern-day sports fans, whose passion for a game inspires extreme behavior, humans have long sought to supplement their day-to-day lives with a rich diversity of alternative experiences.
Rooting his vision in history and psychology, Narula argues that our intrinsic need for autonomy, accomplishment, and connection can best be met in virtual "worlds of ideas," where users have the chance to create and exchange meaning and value. The metaverse is both the growing set of fulfilling digital experiences--ranging from advanced gaming to concerts and other entertainment events and even to virtual employment--and the empowering framework that allows these spaces to become "networks of useful meaning."

"I might not be the strongest warrior. But I'm not willing to betray anyone." President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Like many others, I have felt so helpless throughout the war being fought in Ukraine but I have great admiration for the courage shown by Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his army of men and women on the frontlines.
This week saw the release of his 60 Minutes interview which gives an insightful look into Zelenskyy's leadership, as well as the war being waged against the Ukraine and what is needed to fight it.
